Roar Legal Sydney practice Discovery and legal practice management platform assessment

The organisation is a Sydney-based legal practice with a strong client base and a principal who wanted to be more intentional about how the business operated, freeing up time currently consumed by administration and creating the headroom to grow.

The Perception Collective was engaged to conduct a structured Discovery: understanding how time was being spent across the practice, identifying where technology could do more of the heavy lifting, and mapping a realistic path forward. This included a comprehensive assessment of leading legal practice management platforms: Smokeball, LEAP, and Clio.

We then evaluated which best suited Roar Legal's specific workflows, growth ambitions, and team structure. Key areas of focus included the workflow between the practice management software and accounting platforms, dictation and transcription processes, digital ID verification, and a range of platform capabilities available to the practice but not yet fully utilised.
